RSS is a popular, simple means of sharing content without requiring readers to constantly visit a web site to see what’s new. RSS feeds contain headlines and hyperlinks to the longer articles or web pages.
You can read RSS feeds inside applications installed on your own computer or using a web interface. My Yahoo and Bloglines are among the most popular web interfaces to read RSS.
