Al Qaeda

Alternate Names:

Al Qaida
"The Base"

Note: Al Qaeda and the Taliban are not one and the same. Al Qaeda is the destructive terrorist cult headed by Osama bin Laden; the Taliban is a band of Islamic extremists who used to control much of the country of Afghanistan. However, it appears the Taliban regime aided and supported bin Laden and his group to a great degree.

Osama bin Laden
