FLDS turns to evicting opponents

[FLDS] As the members of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the SA’s largest polygamist sect, continue to experience a crackdown, the FLDS itself continues to battle its opponents.

Some of their opponents are actually FLDS members. For these the FLDS has found a novel way to punish them:

“Officials say it’s becoming more common for FLDS leaders to evict those who are not deemed worthy.”

Yesterday, Patrick Pipkin went back to the home he shares with his mother and siblings, and was told he was no longer welcome.

A standoff began with police, his family, and court appointed attorneys who oversee the trust of the polygamist church.

Five hours later, Pipkin got his house back.

His FLDS “crime”? Patrick Pipkin agreed to comply with state leaders’ demands that he pay property taxes.
