I read your post on the Internet regarding the FOX
News piece on the Moon organization and your repeated false accusations.
I am writing to challenge you to meet me publicly
to discuss the issues. The Title of the debate will be The Moon
Organization: Freedom of Mind or Destructive Cult?
Since the Moon group proclaims that it is far superior
to all other religions on earth, you or other representatives (up
to 3 total on each side) will start by making a case for its superiority,
and I and my "team" will make the opposing case. An impartial
moderator agreed upon by both sides will insure evenhandedness.
The total time to cover all topics will be two hours or less. The
event will be videotaped.
I propose the following subjects:
Sun Myung Moon (Messiah or Cult Leader)
The Divine Principle (Divine Truth or False Teaching)
The Unification Organization (Holy Group or Political,
Business Empire)
The Unification Recruitment and Teaching system (Honest
Education or Mind Control Indoctrination)
The Mass Marriages (Holy System or Scam)
The Future (Kingdom of Heaven on Earth or One World
Theocratic Government)
Since Sun Myung Moon said he would come to speak
on the recent FOX News show that did a report on the Moonies, I
challenge him personally to meet me man to man and defend his outrageous
claims.
I propose that this meeting take place in the first
week of February- before the February 13th mass wedding in Korea.
I am also willing to debate any one representative. Truth will stand
and I am confident that the Moon organization will find any type
of excuse to not rise up to this challenge. In the past, all they
do is ad hominum attacks on me- making false, spurious allegations
about my motives and character. Let's debate the facts!
