The Independent Reassessment Group (IRG) was, a
group of concerned and committed SGI-USA members (past and present).
It never was an officially positively sanctioned SGI- USA group.
The people who formed it wanted to reform the Gakkai, and that
is all they wanted to do. They never were intending to form another
group. Never were intending to be "disloyal" nor anything
but what would be called in the Anglo-American Tradition a "Loyal
