About Steve Hassan
Steven Hassan is a credible, proven cult expert who understands the
subject as both a former cult member and as a clinical professional.
He has worked in the field for over twenty-seven years,
helping thousands of people affected by destructive cults. He is
a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and also a Licensed Mental
Health Counselor (LMHC). He was also a leader in the Moon cult for
over two years (in the 1970s).
Hassan is a knowledgeable and responsible media spokesperson.
He
has been an expert for Nightline, CNN, 60 Minutes, Dateline NBC
and appeared on television and radio hundreds of times since 1976.
