Church lawyer Helena Kobrin tries - but fails - to
eradicate alt.religion. scientology from the Internet.
Scientology lawyers - including Boston University
trustee Earle C. Cooley - seize home computer equipment in raids
on critics in Virginia, Colorado and California, alleging copyright
violations.
Boston Church of Scientology officials force anonymous
critic "Rogue Agent" to give up his Northeastern University
Internet account.
1997
Ron Newman and other Scientology critics picket outside
church offices in Boston and other cities. Scientologists put up
fliers accusing him of "religious bigotry."
